#0077, Under Construction, 2025

Located in the heart of NoDA in Charlotte, this project creates a central “hallway” through the long and narrow backyard. The hallways leads to a variety of rooms for relaxation, gathering, and dining. Some rooms are for human activities and others are given to nature- all are for both. A central component of this project is the re-use of existing materials on site like stone and concrete. The flagstone is relocated to create a rustic firepit area and the existing concrete walkways are cut into segments to be re-created as steps, walkways, and even a custom bench.
